''No preliminary sketches, considered as studies these ink, watercolored drawings sometimes give birth to paintings. Ideas flow and the first line drawn will show the way to the other lines. Although they appear very finished and well thought they are actually very spontaneous and pop up, and I simply give birth to them on paper. I tend to loose myself into crazy tiny details or create repetitive patterns again and again. Although some elements can be inspired from reality my drawings are often very dreamy or humorous and show a world of possibilities.'' (Elodie M. Richard)
