PERSONAL SUMMARY:

A competent and hard working  artist who is able to come up with a range of original ideas, theories and fascinations with a focus on the theme of identity. Elodie is seeking gallery representation throughout the U.S.


 

ART EDUCATION

1994-1998: Ecole du Louvre Paris France

  • Elodie studies Art History and Archaeology from the prehistorical times to modern ones. Besides these courses, works in all the national museums located in Paris, Versailles, Fontainebleau

    Speciality: Celtic, Roman and Merovingian Archaeology in France (Evolution of the religious beliefs, inhumations and incinerations).

  • In parallel of her classes, Elodie has follows volunteering work experiences with Archaeology diggings at the European Centre of Mont Beuvray (Burgundy, France) and at  the Amelie prehistoric archaeology site in Gironde, France.


 

1993: Elodie passes her Baccalaureat Fine arts and art history, Paris, with honours.

April to May 2019: ''Lucky'', solo exhibition of surrealistic paintings at the Jane's Art Gallery, 199 Downing St, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.


 

April 7th 2018:''Unveiled'', solo exhibition at The  Hub on Canal (Mackay Gallery) in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She was also interviewed and published by 10011Magazine (Claudia Eng Gallery) an emergent artists journal located in New York city (3 pages).


 

July 2017: Elodie takes part to ''Out of the Box'', a group show organized by the Hub on Canal, art organization located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.


 

2017 July 1st: Elodie’s art submission ‘’Portrait of K.M ‘’ (Oil painting on canvas) is selected for publication by 1340 Art Magazine. The magazine is ‘’industry focused and its goal is to support and promote the work of emerging artists. From July 10th to August 10th, 2016: Group exhibition,  “Figuratively Speaking”, at the Art League of Daytona Beach (Florida).

 

2014-2015 : Research and production of oil paintings and ink works. After many years of traveling and multiple colorful cultural influences Elodie is influenced by the art of engraving, an ancient petroglyphs, the expressive sharpness and contrasts of black and white, which rejoins her black and white photography and her China ink works.

The Old Ambulance Depot is a unique space in Edinburgh, situated at the gateway to Leith, just off Elm Row, on Brunswick Street.The Depot is an old ambulance garage.​

From 2007 to 2012 : Elodie creates and sell her art abroad , in New Zealand, Australia, Scotland, as well as a mural painting commisssion in Poland. Maori, Aboriginal, foreign mythologies and Celtic cultural influence her creations.
